Condolence From: Terry oscarson
Condolence: The Nichols family was a cornerstone in my youth and Joan played a key part in all of it. John and Connie were always key...because my father and John were childhood friends and my mother and Connie became the best of friends. so...their girls and my brother and I spent many vacations and holidays together. My fondest childhood memories include Joan. We loved the Beatles, McDonald burgers, swimming in the pool and Hanging out on the Gunflint trail and watching Gunsmoke...although the years have sent us out into the world...I have never forgotten. Joan was always our fearless leader in all the fun we had as kids...and I know my love of humor stems from the years of laughter we shared as little girls. Although the years has placed distance between us..please know as I am so sad to hear of her passing and tears fill my eyes...my smile is one of my wonderful childhood friend and her family as they are forever in my heart.
