Our Funeral Planning Services

Making funeral plans doesn’t have to complicated or stressful. At our firm, we take great pride in being there to assist families from the first call until long after the service has ended. Whether you’re preplanning your own funeral or planning a funeral service for a loved one, the first step is obtaining all the necessary information to make an informed decision.
Each year, we help families from our community plan meaningful and dignified funeral services. By doing so, they receive great emotional relief for themselves and their loved ones. Planning a funeral service ahead of time will allow you to make your own funeral plans known but, more importantly, will spare surviving relatives and loved ones from the emotional burden of having to make decisions at a time of great stress and grief.

To help you learn more about our funeral planning services, we’ve created this helpful funeral planning guide outlining everything you need to know.

How to Plan a Funeral

Planning a funeral service doesn’t have to be something you stress over. Whether you are preplanning for yourself or a loved one who has just passed away, our caring staff will be by your side throughout the process.

Planning Ahead

Before you come to meet with us at the funeral home, it’s best to plan ahead and brainstorm with your loved ones. How do you want to be remember? What kind of service would you like? A great way to get started is to think about questions like this and talk them over with your family. After you know what type of service and interment you want, you can start to plan the actual service.

Establish A Budget

Before you make any purchases, it’s important to establish a budget. Once you know what you can afford to spend, you can look at the different service options that fit your budget.

Planning A Funeral Service

The third step in this process is when you get down to planning the details of your service. When you meet with the funeral director, we’ll provide you with a general price list that outlines each of our services. During your arrangement meeting, we’ll discuss the different service options available and help you plan a personalized service.

Financial Arrangements

Once your funeral arrangements have been completed, your funeral director will discuss payment options with you. There are several ways to pay for a service including a one-time payment, insurance assignment, or paying in installments. Talk to your funeral director about which option works best for you.

Leave A Paper Trail

Last but not least, make sure your family knows where to locate all of your important documents. Your estate’s executor should know where to find your funeral contract, will, and any other documents that are needed. This will be helpful later on to ensure your affairs are in order.
This section will help you make decisions for the future by explaining what pre-arrangement is, what is involved, and what options are available. If you are looking for how to get started planning arrangements today, please visit our prepaid funeral arrangements section.
