Our Minneapolis Funeral Homes
1961, Gill Brothers Funeral Home opened up a location in Bloomington which started serving families in the Richfield-Bloomington area and in 1969 Gill Brothers closed its downtown Minneapolis location. In 2000 this facility completely renovated and is now fully handicap accessible. This beautiful facility now capable of hosting a funeral lunch/reception.
Gill Brothers expanded from it's downtown Minneapolis funeral home to a second location in Southwest Minneapolis in 1955. This funeral home in Southwest Minneapolis, serves families located from the Bloomington-Richfield as well as the entire metro area.
Gill Brothers Funeral Home, expanded again in 1998 to a third location in New Hope, MN. Since our “roots” were originally in North Minneapolis, we had received several requests to bring our funeral services closer to the “North Side” by families were have served for many generations. This modern facility is not only fully handicap accessible, but also has a community room and every amenity a modern funeral home should have.
