Gordon Paul  Oxborough
Gordon P. Oxborough age 85. Gordy was a life long resident of Bloomington and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict; retired from the City of Bloomington Street Department and founded Gordy’s Lawn Service in 1965. Preceded in death by wife of 54 years, Connie; son, Gary; parents, Elizabeth (Pahl) and Eldon “Bud” Oxborough; brother, Roger. Survived by children, Greg (Vicky), Cherie (Brett) Boatman); grandchildren, Brandon, Raeann, Neil; great-granddaughter Arielle; sister, Mary Lou Nordling; dear friend, Judy Haeg. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10:00 a.m. April 13, 2018 at the Church of the Nativity of Mary, 9900 Lyndale Ave. So. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-7 p.m. at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave. So. and 1 hour prior to Mass. Memorials preferred to the Arthritis or Kidney Foundations.
