Rest in Peace, Marlayne. I know you will. Marlayne was the kindest person and God loving person I have met. It was a privilege to have known her and have her as a friend in my life. She continued to give me hope in my saddest hours. She had so much courage in this crazy world we live in. She will be so missed by so many and myself. Love to you, Marlayne

Thank you for being my baptismal sponsor and a role model to me in so many ways; showing me how to live as an independent woman; being an example of living your faith quietly and out loud; and teaching me about peace and social justice, global humanitarianism, and service to others. I will miss you immensely. I am grateful you are no longer in pain. Forever in my heart you will be.

Marlayne was my favorite squash partner while we lived in Monrovia, Liberia. Also a tough opponent and one of the most faithful persona I've ever known. My family and I are so glad she was a part of our lives. She will be missed, but the model of her strong faith will stay with us.
