Bauman, Virginia “Ginny” Ann age 67 of Minneapolis.
Ginny came into this world on May 23, 1948. She was born with Down Syndrome and from the very beginning she was our precious angel. Her parents Fredina and Amor Bauman welcomed her into paradise on September 2, 2015. Now Ginny is a special angel in heaven. Ginny lived her adult years as a resident of Outreach Group Homes in Minneapolis. Her fellow residents and staff were a true family to her. Ginny attended a day program at Opportunity Partners where she was a cherished participant. We are deeply grateful for the loving care she received from her many staff, past and present. Ginny is lovingly remembered by her brother Bernie (Diana) Bauman, sister Patty (Tom) Schenk, nieces Brigit (Matt) Gores and Emily Schenk, nephew John Schenk and great-nephew Paris Bari. 19, of New Hope, passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on September 9, 2015 after a lifelong battle with kidney disease. Danita Marie (Dalbec) Vardy, 50, of New Hope, Minnesota died Friday August 28, 2015 at her home surrounded by family and friends after a long 5 year battle with cancer. Danita was born October 2, 1964, in Superior, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Gerald and Julia Dalbec. Danita loved to travel and be around her family and friends. She enjoyed doing puzzles, gardening, going to comedy shows, music concerts, and spoiling her granddaughter. She became a big supporter of National Breast Cancer Conferences. Dolores “Dee” Mlazgar was born in Comfrey, MN on December 31, 1921 as the seventh of eight children to John and Therese Zwaska. She passed into the hands of our lord on September 12, 2015 in Bloomington, MN. Dee grew up on the family farm outside of Comfrey and graduated from Mankato High School and Mankato Business College.
On a bus ride from southwestern Minnesota to Minneapolis, Dee met Ray Mlazgar. They married at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Shakopee on June 7th, 1947 and over the years raised 4 children at their homes in Minneapolis and Bloomington.
Dee was a very progressive woman for her time and beyond her duties as a wife and mother, she also spent over 30 years as a paralegal at Twin City firms including Gustafson & Adams of Edina, MN.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Therese; sisters, Florence Windschitl, Sr. M.
