Survived by children, Tom (Pauline) Duffy, Colleen (Terry) Hansen and Michael (Kathy) Duffy; grandchildren, Michele (Jamie) Arth, Kari Davis, Shannon Bright, Lyndsay (Shane) Knolls, Kalie Duffy and Ryan Duffy; 10 great grandchildren. Bauman, Virginia “Ginny” Ann age 67 of Minneapolis.
Ginny came into this world on May 23, 1948. She was born with Down Syndrome and from the very beginning she was our precious angel. Her parents Fredina and Amor Bauman welcomed her into paradise on September 2, 2015. Now Ginny is a special angel in heaven. Ginny lived her adult years as a resident of Outreach Group Homes in Minneapolis. Her fellow residents and staff were a true family to her. Ginny attended a day program at Opportunity Partners where she was a cherished participant. We are deeply grateful for the loving care she received from her many staff, past and present. Ginny is lovingly remembered by her brother Bernie (Diana) Bauman, sister Patty (Tom) Schenk, nieces Brigit (Matt) Gores and Emily Schenk, nephew John Schenk and great-nephew Paris Bari. Ginny also had many cousins and extended family who loved her dearly. Celebration of Life Tuesday, September 8, 5-8 pm at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel 5801 Lyndale Ave So, Minneapolis, MN. Prayer service 7 pm. Private family interment.

Evanson, Eugene age 86 of SW Minneapolis.  Gene was born in Minneapolis December 15, 1928. Birth parents, Clifford Evanson and Grace Bernice Murphy. Loving parents, Floyd and Eva Linden all preceded him in death. Served in the Marine Corps 1945 to 1953 achieving the rank of Corporal. Worked for Honeywell for 35 years. Survived by loving wife, Rhea Ann (Sparby) Evanson; daughter, Rev. Rhea Jean Evanson; son, William Henry (James Buck); grandchildren, Peter (Tara) Sarrazin, Rhea Kelly Sarrazin, Gianni Buck; great grandchildren, Brenden and Preston Sarrazin.  Mass of Christian Burial Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ the King, 5029 Zenith Ave. So. Alison "Ali" Gratz

19, of New Hope, passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on September 9, 2015 after a lifelong battle with kidney disease. She is survived by her parents Tom & Terri; sister, Emily; grandparents: Jim & Kathy Gratz, Stan & Sheila Kantar; great grandma, Lillian Lotterman; cousins Faith, Skyler, Hunter, Meghan, Rebecca, Kris, Andrew, Jenna and Ella. Ali is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, friends and family.  Ali shone her beacon of light far and wide. Rather than dwell on the many health challenges she faced, she made sure that she brought love and laughter to those around her.  She will be remembered as a caring, compassionate and thoughtful young woman, with a serious silly streak!  We welcome ALL whose lives Ali touched to join us in a Celebration of Life event on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 11 AM at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 3900 Winnetka Ave N, New Hope. Danita Marie (Dalbec) Vardy, 50, of New Hope, Minnesota died Friday August 28, 2015 at her home surrounded by family and friends after a long 5 year battle with cancer. Danita was born October 2, 1964, in Superior, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Gerald and Julia Dalbec. Danita loved to travel and be around her family and friends. She enjoyed doing puzzles, gardening, going to comedy shows, music concerts, and spoiling her granddaughter. She became a big supporter of National Breast Cancer Conferences. Danita is survived by her husband, Andrew; daughter, Tabitha Thompson (Andy); granddaughter, Dakota Thompson; son, Tyler Thompson; mother, Julia Dalbec; sister, Judy (Mike) Hagen, many nieces, nephews and the Vardy family in the UK. Dolores “Dee” Mlazgar was born in Comfrey, MN on December 31, 1921 as the seventh of eight children to John and Therese Zwaska.  She passed into the hands of our lord on September 12, 2015 in Bloomington, MN.  Dee grew up on the family farm outside of Comfrey and graduated from Mankato High School and Mankato Business College. 

On a bus ride from southwestern Minnesota to Minneapolis, Dee met Ray Mlazgar.  They married at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Shakopee on June 7th, 1947 and over the years raised 4 children at their homes in Minneapolis and Bloomington.

Dee was a very progressive woman for her time and beyond her duties as a wife and mother, she also spent over 30 years as a paralegal at Twin City firms including Gustafson & Adams of Edina, MN.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Therese; sisters, Florence Windschitl, Sr. M. Aleda (CST); brothers, John Zwaska, Leonard Zwaska, Ray Zwaska, Alfred (Bud) Zwaska; sisters-in-law,  Roslia Zwaska, Cathy Zwaska, EvoneZwaska, Marge Neale, Alvina Mlazgar, Donna Mlazgar; brothers-in-law, John Mlazgar, Louis Mlazgar, Bill Beal, Dick Windschitl and nephew, John Beal.

Dee is survived by children, Mike (Marlys), Mark (Kim), Tom and Lisa; grandchildren, Lindsay Mlazgar, Chris Mlazgar, Jerry Moore, Keri Storms; 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; sisters, Cyrilla Beal; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Zwaska along with several nieces, nephews,

For those who knew Dee, you understood what a truly wonderful person she was.  Positive, upbeat, caring, loving and supportive are words that only begin to describe her amazing nature.  She was nothing short ofa gift from God and now, all in heaven are graced by her presence as we were during her 93 years of life on earth.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM, Friday, Sept. 18th at the Church of the Nativity of Mary, 9900 Lyndale Ave. So. Visitation Thursday, 4-7 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave. So. and one hour prior to mass at church. Interment to be at a later date-Fort Snelling National Cemetery.  Memorials preferred to School Sisters of Notre Dame, Mankato, MN on this their 150th anniversary of service.
