Age 89 of Minneapolis, MN. Died January 14, 2020 at Olive Branch Estates, Chaska, MN. Korean War veteran (Navy); Past Post Commander of American Legion #550, avid outdoorsman, longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and loved bluegrass music, Preceded in death by parents, Joseph G. and Lydia H. (Bogema) Sherman; siblings, Harold, Irving, Sylvia, and Florence. Survived by wife, Alice; daughter, Debbie; sister, Gloria Trogan; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 11 AM ~ Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Avenue South with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment ~ Lakewood Cemetery. If so desired memorials may be directed to the Animal Humane Society or The Salvation Army.
