William Lawrence “Larry” Winum age 92 of Bloomington, MN.
Born August 3, 1931 in Akron, OH. Larry was a devout Catholic who grew up in Minneapolis and attended DeLaSalle High School. He excelled in his 40-year career as a car salesman at Hansord Pontiac and Peterson Pontiac.
He passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on August 13 at Kingsley Shores Senior Community in Lakeville, MN.
Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary (Meitz); four children, Larry (Terri) Winum, Steve Winum, Jane (Gary) Pahl, Mary Ellen (Joe) Reger. Nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jane; brother, Eugene; sister, Elizabeth Garry, and daughter-in-law, Martha.
Visitation Thurs, 8/17 from 5-7 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave. S., Bloomington. Mass of Christian Burial - Fri, 8/18 10AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Ave, Lakeville with visitation before at 9AM. A luncheon is scheduled after Mass at the church followed by a procession to the burial ceremony at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers a donation be made to the charity of your choice.
