Wayne Anthony Hergott, age 88 of Edina passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 unexpectedly. Wayne loved God, his wife, his kids and grandkids and St. John’s University in that order. He is survived by his wife Marge, daughters Anne Marie Hanson and Sara Laughlin (Tom) and son Jon Hergott (Kimberly), and his 5 grandchildren Regina (Tom), John, Aimee, Gunnar and Moira; brother Pat Hergott (Carol), Sister-in-law Gail Hergott, Brother-in-law Bill Kain, and many family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Veronica Hergott, brother Daniel Hergott and grandson Connor Laughlin. Celebration of life 11am, Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5029 Zenith Avenue S., Mpls with visitation beginning at 10 am. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
