Timothy Richard Mumford was born April 2, 1945 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Richard and Molly Mumford. He was the oldest of 4. He was part of a traveling tabernacle choir in Minneapolis for many years. He attended the University of Minnesota for one year until he got drafted into the U.S. Navy. In 1965 he completed Nuclear Weapons school in Norfolk, VA. He was sent to Navordfac, Saint Mawgan, England. When he arrived he looked over the cliffs of Newquay beach in England and noticed a beautiful woman surfing. He married Lesley on July 19, 1968.
Timothy was blessed having two sisters, Cathy and Kristine and one brother, Joe. He was an excellent father to his two children, Patrick and Shannon. He very much enjoyed preparing delicious dinner meals for his family to enjoy and spend time together.
Timothy was a humble, kind-hearted, and a matter of fact kind of man. He loved traveling the US to visit close friends, and visit family in England.
