Preceded in death by infant son, James Thomas McCanney; sisters, Patricia and Carol; brothers-in-law, Bob and Mike. Survived by wife, Ellyn Mary (Frede) McCanney; children, Daniel (Paula) McCanney, Susan (Paul) McCanney, and Mary McCanney; grandchildren, James (Meghan) McCanney and Melissa (Joshua) Macklin; great-grandchildren, Reid, Hailey and Felix; brothers, Robert (Marge) McCanney; sister, Sandy Lebak. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 11 AM ~ Gill Brothers Southwest Chapel, 5801 Lyndale Avenue South with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
