Stephen Gerard Wirig, age 60, of Lino Lakes, MN.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steve, a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. Preceded in death by father, John Wirig, survived by mother, Mary Ocel and siblings Michael Wirig, Daniel Wirig (Lisa Hurt), Margaret (Scott) McCabe, Catherine (Thomas) Olson, David (Verna) Wirig, Nieces and Nephews Ashley, Matthew, Russel, Courtney, Alec, Alisha, Mariana and Gavin.
Steve was called to be with Jesus on August 11, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He was an avid Vikings fan with an infectious laugh and a gentle soul. His memory will forever serve as a reminder of the importance of embracing life with a positive outlook and spreading joy to those around us. As we gather to celebrate his life and legacy, let us remember the warmth of his smile, the sound of his laughter, and the genuine love he held for his family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, August 18th, 2023 at the Church of St. Bonaventure, 901 East 90th Street, Bloomington, MN 55420. Visitation at 10 AM. Interment ~ Holy Name Cemetery.
