Baker, Sandra J. (nee Smith), Age 87, of Wayzata, MN, died peacefully on January 16, 2023. Preceded in death by parents Helen and Gilbert Smith and husband Robert W. Baker. Survived by daughter Debra Baker Stowe and son Jeffrey T. Baker; grandchildren Ryan Stowe, Rory and Paige Baker; and daughter-in-law Patricia Alton Baker. Sandy was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Minneapolis and moved to New York City, NY to continue her work as a model. She married Bob Baker and they lived in New York City, NY and Greenwich, CT before moving to Deephaven, MN. They enjoyed many years together living in Minnesota and Naples, FL. After Bob’s death, Sandy lived at RidgePointe, Minnetonka and Folkestone, Wayzata where she had many friends. Many thanks to the entire staff at Folkestone and Karla Keller for their excellent care. Services have been held.
