Raymond Edward Gilligan, "Ray" age 92, formerly of Bloomington. With sad, but joyful hearts, we share that dad was released from the grips of dementia and into God's loving arms on May 6, 2023, four days before his 93rd birthday. Preceded in death by Joan, his loving wife of 54 years and Gloria Barry, his wife of 12 years.; siblings, Eileen (Ray) Kupka and Lee (Rosie) Gilligan. Survived by daughter, Lynn Gilligan (Rich Brewster); son, Mark Gilligan (Miriam Campbell); 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren;1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Gene (Lorri) Gilligan; family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 24th at the Church of St. Bonaventure, 901 E. 90th Street, Bloomington with visitation beginning at 10:00. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to DeLaSalle High School.
