Phillip Ervin Johnson, age 90 of Bloomington, Spicer and Alamo, Texas. Born August 2, 1929 in St. Paul, MN; died November 13, 2019. Phillip grew up in St. Paul and married Gloria Beckley in 1951. He loved to travel, help others, was an animal lover and a proud military veteran. Preceded in death by wife, Gloria; mother, Alice and uncles, Wilford and Ed. Survived by sons, Mike (Carol), Mitch (Barb), Marvin (Marty) and Mark; 9 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Marvin Jr., Bruce, Tommy, Heather, Holly, Jeff, Tania and Joshua; great-grandchildren; niece, Michelle (Stanley) Carter and their children, Rebekah and David. Memorial Service 11:15 a.m., Tuesday, November 19th at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave. S., Bloomington. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
