Age 55 of Savage, MN passed peacefully in his home after a courageous battle with lung cancer on May 13, 2019. Nick was known for his love of working with his hands, helping others, making everyone laugh and his love for his family and of course his dogs. Nick joins his father, Edward; mother, Joanne (nee Ganley); sister, Patti; brothers-in-law, Brian, Denny & Brian in Heaven. He is survived by his girlfriend & wonderful caretaker Terri; children, Kayla, Dan and Tori; siblings, Mary Jo Brouillard, Susan Mart, Liz Deike, Chris (Michele) Struble and many nieces, nephews, and extended family, friends & coworkers. Help us in celebrating his courageous life in his honor. Memorial Service will be on Friday May 17th 11 AM at Church of the Annunciation, 509 W. 54th St. Minneapolis. A visitation will be held on Thursday May 16th from 5-8 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 5801 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis, and 1 hour prior to service at the church. Interment at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the family. “A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hand put to rest.
