Michael Jon Clarkson, age 45, passed away after a motor vehicle accident on April 22nd. He is survived by two amazing children: Braydon 13 and Breanna 9 and a wonderful step-daughter, Hope Soto, along with their mother, Marsha. He is also survived by sister, Jacqueline Helm (Michael) and brother, Leonard Clarkson III, niece, Corrine Howenstein (Kevin), nephews, DJ Fournier and Ian Helm, and great nieces Olivia, Natalie and Ashley. He was preceded in death by parents Leonard R. Clarkson, Sr. and Judith C. Clarkson, grandparents, Helen and Roger Engle and Leonard and Marcelle Clarkson.

Mike loved outdoor activities, fishing and hunting, mostly. He enjoyed a good sci-fi movie, old-school rock n' roll, visiting the beach, and a good beer. He had a silly laugh and a heart of gold.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, May 4th from 11-2 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 7300 42nd Ave N, New Hope, with a time of sharing at 1 PM. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope.
