Age 91, of Friendship Village, Bloomington, MN
She passed away peacefully on July 12, 2023.
Preceded in death, by parents Monica and William, husband of 50 years Bob, late life partner Robert Howard and siblings DJ, Keith, Yvonne and Norman.
Survived by sons Mark (Mary), Gregg (Sarah) and grandchildren Whitney (Pete), Maren (Joe), Stefanie, Collin and 5 great-grandchildren.
Maureen, a graduate of St. Margaret’s Academy, an Edina resident and Our Lady of Grace parishioner for over 60 years. She worked many decades for H.P. Skogland and family, to whom she would credit her successful long term financial investments. She was an avid international traveler. Her travels took her to eleven countries, her two favorites being France and Mexico, to which she returned multiple times. In retirement she volunteered at Fairview Southdale Hospital and wintered in Naples, Florida. She will always be remembered for her upbeat personality and enthusiastic spirit, to which she attributed to the luck of being of Irish heritage.
Funeral mass at OLG Catholic Church, Edina, MN, Thursday, July 20th at 10:30, with visitation at 10:00, luncheon to follow. Private burial at a later date.
