Obituary for Mary Lillian Hall (Lane)
Hall, Mary Age 86 of Minneapolis
Passed away peacefully on Feb. 9th, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Mary Lane; her son, Michael Hall; and her grandson, Nicholas Jorgenson. Survived by her husband of 64 years, Don Hall; her children, Laura (John Jorgenson), Nancy (John Werler), Sandra, Sharon, Molly (Jim McDonagh) and Donna (Matt Evans); her grandchildren, Kate (Kyle Solberg), Kevin, Dominic, Hunter, Frankie; and soon to be two great grandchildren.
Mary loved spending time with family and friends. She had an extraordinary outlook on life, she was kindhearted, incredibly generous and always put the needs of others before her own. Mary enjoyed summers at the cabin, entertaining guests, taking pontoon and golf cart rides around the lake, swimming, gardening, picking berries and relaxing with a good book. Mary and Don had a love for travel. The many trips to Hawaii, Florida and Texas were three of their favorites. She also enjoyed multiple train trips, road trips to New Orleans and to many other destinations. Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A private interment will be held at Fort Snelling. A Celebration of Life will be held at Gill Brothers on 5801 Lyndale Ave. So. Minneapolis at 1pm on Friday, March 4th, 2022. Luncheon to follow.
