Mom is finally reunited with dad who she missed so dearly since his passing; it brings joy to our hearts. Mom brought true meaning to home and family. She was the heart of our family, she was the strongest, sweetest, most amazing, caring, loving woman in our lives. Family gatherings at mom's was a must attend event. She spoiled us with her cooking, especially known for her hot dish and sloppy joes, which are hard to duplicate. Mom was a great baker, getting a loaf of her banana bread, her annual Christmas tray of cookies, fudge and other treats and her popcorn balls, was prized by all. Mom also loved canning, you were very lucky if you received a jar of her pickles or salsa. Mom always remembered everyone's birthday with a card, her thoughtfulness will be missed. Perhaps one of the most prized gifts that mom gave was over 100 handmade gingham check baby quilts to all her grandchildren and others. Martha was very generous and gave to many charities throughout her life.
