Marilyn Anderson, 1930-2023, of Bloomington, MN, entered eternal life on July 20. Preceded on that path by her parents, Art and Alma Born; husband, Milo Sr. and daughter Jeanette. Survived by six sons, Kurt (Kathleen McCormick), Ken, Russ, Milo (Inna), Ron (Andrea), Ted (Oksana), and son-in-law, Mark Heymans (Yoneko); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marilyn was a talented vocalist and award-winning accordionist. She graduated from Minneapolis Edison High School in 1948 and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life also was enriched by the love of her siblings and in-laws - Oscar and Agnes, Clint and Bev, Virg and Don, Pat and Ev, Karen and Rich, Annette and Jim, Dennis and Judy, Paul and Gloria, Sandra and Porky, Judy Born, Steve and Pat - and nieces, nephews, their children and many more; and her friends at St. Bonaventure's and in her other spiritual ventures. After launching her children into successful adulthood, she worked as a banquet waitress in hotels from east to west along the 494 corridor, and then traveled the United States and much more of the world as a tour guide and religious pilgrim. Her family thanks the devoted caregivers at Hayden Grove, MHealth Fairview, St. Croix Hospice, and Bluestone Medical. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, July 28th, 2023 at 11 AM ~ The Church of Saint Bonaventure, 901 East 90th Street, Bloomington, MN 55420. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 PM at Gill Brothers Bloomington Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Avenue South and also one hour prior to mass at church. Interment following reception at Resurrection Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be directed to the St. Bonaventure Music Ministry.
