Lynn Patrick “Pat” Calhoun
Calhoun, Lynn Patrick “Pat” age 73, passed away peacefully
on July 17, 2023. 
Survived by wife Kitty (née Davy); sisters Sybil McMillan,
Sylvie Robinson; brother-in-law and good friend, John
Lynch. Also survived by in-laws: Brigid (James) Swanson,
Jack (Cindi) Davy, Patricia Johanning, William (Mary) Davy,
Thomas Davy. Beloved, fun-loving uncle to many nieces
and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. Preceded in
death by mother Lenore, siblings Robert Calhoun, Mary
Malenfant, Donna Lynch, and brothers-in-law James Davy
and Jerome Johanning.
Pat served in the U.S. Army 1st Cavalry Division during the
Vietnam War. He went on to serve twenty-five years on the
Minneapolis Fire Department, retiring as Captain in 2001. 
Pat was proud of both his Irish and Native heritage (member
of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe).
Pat loved celebrating holidays, especially St. Patrick’s Day
and Christmas. But his favorite times were the years he
spent with his best friend of 31 years, Kitty, at their cabin on
Big Chetac Lake. Pontoon rides, campfires, playing with his
dogs, and entertaining family and friends were his greatest
joy. 
Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 28, 2023, 11:00 a.m.
with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of
Christ the King, 51st and Zenith Ave S., Minneapolis. Burial
St. Mary’s Cemetery.
