Lucetta “Lucy” Klos (Stifter)
Lucy was born on July 16, 1930 in Winsted, MN to Eugene and Angela Stifter. She died peacefully in her sleep on March 20, 2021 and passed through the gates of Heaven to join her husband ,Joseph; infant son, Randall; sisters, Eileen and Gertrude. She is survived by her children, Steven(Ellen), Joseph, Daniel, David (Ann), John (Trish), Kim (Karl Poncius) and Barry(Kazumi); grandchildren, Matthew (Jocelynn), Ryan (fiancée, Marcy), Kameron, Sara, Emily, Sonja, William, Aya, Kayla, Anthony, Alyssa, Jin Jin, and Lucy; siblings, Sr. Corina, Marie, Thecla, Gladys and Gerard; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Lucy was an active member of St. Patrick’s parish having served as a bell ringer, lector, faith formation teacher and Women’s Council President. She was also active in the Catholic community, the board of Risen Christ School and the League of Catholic Women. She was a longtime member and supporter of the Edina Federated Women's Club. Lucy was a world wide traveler and adventurer. She did volunteer work in many countries around the world. Lucy loved playing cards, especially cribbage, bridge and euchre. She will be missed by all. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 26th at the Church of St. Patrick, 6820 St. Patrick’s Lane, Edina with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. If you are unable to attend the mass, please join the family through the livestream link. Private family luncheon. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights. In memory of Lucy, memorials are preferred to Risen Christ School, 1120 E. 37th St., Minneapolis, MN 55407, (risenchristschool.org).
