Loris Melford Larson, 93, passed away Tuesday May 7, 2019 in Edina, Minnesota. Loris was born February 23, 1926 to Ole and Sophia Larson and grew up in the Adams area. Loris graduated from Adams High School and served in the Korean War. Loris made his home in Austin, working at Hormel Foods. On May 27, 1961, Loris was united in marriage to Dorothy Heimerman. Dorothy was truly the love of his life. They shared many memories of dancing, traveling, fishing, date nights, and enjoying their children and grandchildren. Loris loved hunting, fishing, bowling, and watching the Twins. Loris’ greatest joy was making special family memories such as fishing on the pontoon, card games, and enjoying the family he was blessed with. We have many special memories of Loris with his grandchildren such as: playing ball, teaching them how to fish, making pancakes together, and sharing his love with them. Loris was a devoted husband, father and grandfather sharing his stories, humor, and especially his love with his family. He will be dearly missed.
