Obituary for Lois Jean Fiebiger (Woolsey)

Lois Jean Fiebiger (Woolsey) of Bloomington, Mn. passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Cinco de Mayo at the age of 87. Born July 12th, 1934 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Preceded in death by parents Leila and Burl Woolsey. Sister, Vera and Brother Roy. Survived by daughters, Debbie and Sandy. Grandchildren, Kendra (Eric), Tamara (Erin), Shane (Kristy). Great grandchildren, Olivia (15), Adalyn (7), Dashell (2), Tatum (2) and Beloved Bear, Creampuff.

Lois was one of a kind. Those that met her never forgot her. She always wanted to make people happy with humor. She picked up lifelong friends wherever she went.

She was involved with St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church. In her early years she gave guitar lessons to children, then became a Bloomington Election Judge for many years and later worked Several years at the Mall of America as a tour guide where she won the Diamond Service Award for outstanding customer service. She was a proud member of the “Lois” Club and the Tip Toppers (tall girls) Club. She was also involved with Bloomington Civic theatre and had several roles in plays and worked in set design. Some of her favorite things were gardening, dancing, rollerblading, skiing, shopping the Dollar Store, and most of all, Family!

The funeral will be held at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave S. Bloomington, MN on May 13th. Visitation is at 1pm and a service at 2pm followed by a celebration of life at her home in Bloomington.
