Obituary for Linda Christine Meredyk (Zuelke)

LINDA C MEREDYK (ZUELKE)

Age 74. Went home to be with Jesus on Sunday morning, May 2nd. For those who knew Linda, they were always struck by her kindness, gentleness, and love and care for others. We are much better people as a result of her grace and mercy and never ending love. We are so grateful for her tenderness and the gift of time we had with her.

Linda was a long time daycare provider as well as a nursery care provider at St. Stephen Lutheran Church. She loved children and babies. However, one of her favorite achievements was becoming a Registered Representative for Lutheran Brotherhood/Thrivent Financial. She did this unselfishly so she could assist her husband Jim in his practice.

Linda loved to cook, bake, and sew. She excelled at all three as many can attest too. She loved sports and became an excellent student of basketball and baseball. She had a keen eye who became an extremely knowledgable fan. She was a long time Gopher basketball season ticket holder who gained many friends.

Watching her favorite shows on TV with her husband Jim was one of her favorite things to do. Linda also loved spending time with her grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua and Juniper. She would drop everything for them or her children. Family was the center point of her life. Her love and devotion for her family was paramount in everything she did. We have been Blessed.

Finally, Linda always had a very deep faith in Jesus. She confirmed this faith by full immersion Baptism in 2017. This gave her tremendous joy. We know she is experiencing a peace and joy we can only imagine in His Glorious Kingdom.

Linda is survived by her husband Jim of 54 ½ years, daughter Michelle Woodard and son-in-law Dave Woodard, son Richard Meredyk, grandson Matthew Marick and Joshua Meredyk, granddaughter Juniper (Juni) Meredyk and a great granddaughter to join us in September. She is also survived by her half sister, Vicki Warner and former daughter-in-law Angela Meredyk.
