Obituary for Kay LaVonne Russell (Haas)
Kay L. Russell passed away 3/19/2020 after a long battle with COPD. She took her last breath with her daughter, Pam and niece, Laurie holding her hands. Tony, her husband, all her family and friends that preceded her, were there to welcome her.
Kay had just celebrated her 83 birthday on 2/24/2020. She was born in McVille, ND in 1937 and raised in Tolna, ND with her 5 brothers as a farm family. In 1955 Kay married Dale Hensrud and they had a daughter, Pamela Kay in 1958. Kay and Pam moved to Minneapolis in 1961 where she resided until her passing. In 1973 she married Anthony Russell and was happily married until he passed in 2006.
Also mourning Kay’s passing is her brother, James (& Judy) Haas; three generations of nieces and nephews; multitude of friends and her 2 “grand kitties”.
