Obituary for Kathryn Jeannine Mory (Ryan)

Kathryn Jeannine Mory passed away peacefully April 26 at Walker Methodist Health Center. Jeannine was born December 15, 1928 in Windom, Minnesota to James and Catherine Peterson Ryan. She graduated from Windom High School and then attended Hamline University in St Paul where she studied to become a medical technologist. She spent her entire career working and teaching in the lab at Northwestern Hospital.


She met the love of her life, Karl Mory, and they married May 18, 1957. Jeannine and Karl enjoyed traveling to Twins baseball games, Hawaii, and bowling tournaments in Las Vegas and other cities around the U.S.

Jeannine was very active in her church Richfield United Methodist and was an avid participant in the exercise classes and activities at Nokomis Healthy Seniors.

She was preceded in death by her husband Karl, and siblings Lucille, James, Thomas, Elizabeth and Richard. She is survived by sister-in-law, Eleanor Ryan and 11 nieces and nephews and remembered by many family and friends for her intelligence, wonderful laugh and delicious pies.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 30th 11 AM at Richfield United Methodist Church, 5835 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
