Joseph Walter Cazin

He was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Katherine (Hanegmon) Cazin; wife, Lorraine (Jolian) Cazin; and infant son, Paul Benedict Cazin.
Survived by son, David; and daughter, Sara. He is survived by relatives, Jerry Cazin, Linda Cazin, Laurel Cazin, Tom Cazin, Theresa Olliney, Karen Hull, Patty Ledin, and Mary Kosir; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe grew up on the iron range in Aurora, MN. He served in the U.S. Army. He graduated from St. Cloud State University. He was principal at Round Lake High School. He taught at Assumption School in Richfield. For 24 years he taught social studies at Chaska Middle School. He did interior and exterior house painting in the summer. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed bowling and playing cards at Creekside Senior Center and Canterbury Card Club. He enjoyed playing slots at the casino and he enjoyed Polka music.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, August 4th 11 a.m. at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church 9900 Lyndale Ave. So. Bloomington, MN. Visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church. Reception to follow. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN.
