Ervin, Jerry L. age 74 of Edina, MN passed away on Sunday morning, May 19, 2019. Jerry was a ‘63 graduate of Roosevelt High School and an Air Force veteran who served 20 years from 1963-1983. He received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from August Vollmer University. Jerry was a faithful Christian who will be remembered for his compassionate spirit and sense of humor. Preceded in death by brother, Jackie; parents, Jack and Esta Jo; and former wife of 28 years, Jeannine. Survived by wife of 20 years, Kari; children, Nikki (Janet) Ervin-Fugiel, Matt (Annabelle) Whyte and Jordan (Colleen) Whyte; grandchildren, Adeline, Asher, Nolan, Nelsen, Nora, Nina and Jojo; sister, Jo (Harold) Schwalm; nephews, Matthew (Sheila) Cina, Daniel (Lynn) Hook and Adam (Kristi) Hook; and many cousins. A special thanks to the staff at the Bloomington Masonic Home and Park Nicollet Hospice for their loving care of Jerry. Visitation Thursday, May 23rd 5-8 pm at Gill Brothers Funeral Home 9947 Lyndale Ave. So. Bloomington, MN. Funeral service Friday, May 24th 11 am at Celebration Church 16655 Kenyon Ave. So.
