Obituary for Jeanne Rae Rundell Frink (Enhelder)

Jeanne Rundell Frink
Jeanne was born on February 27, 1949 in Madison, Wisconsin. She unexpectedly had a brain aneurysm burst on April 10, and died peacefully on May 10, 2023 at JA Wedum Hospice, Minneapolis.
She graduated from Whalen Academy in Madison, Wisconsin and received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from University of Minnesota.
First and foremost Jeanne was a talented professional artist. She brought images to life with photography, oil and watercolor painting. During the last decade she focused on Japanese Sumi-e art. Jeanne was a member of the Sumi-e Society of America and the Minnesota Chapter Ming Chiao. Her studio, 206 Fine Art was located in the Historic Grain Belt Bottling House in the heart of the art district in Northeast Minneapolis. Prior to retirement Jeanne was creative director of marketing for Land O Lakes for 15 years.
Her creativity also included gardening, gourmet cooking, home interior and exterior design. Jeanne’s appearance whether at the grocery store or making a professional presentation was classic. Jeanne was an avid golfer and world traveler.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband Robert Frink, her mother and father Rachel and Edward Enhelder and her brother Dale and step-son David Frink.
She is survived by her son Eric Rundell, step-daughters Ann Ivers (Bill), Caron Handberg (Greg), step-son Rob Frink (Delia Rios), nieces Kate and Allie Handberg, Frances Ivers, nephews Jack Ivers, Zachary and Nathaniel Frink.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 15 from 4-7 pm at Gill Brothers 5801 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis.
A service will be held on May 16 at 10 am at Gill Brothers with interment following the service in Wadena, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to Sumi-e Society of Minnesota or Minneapolis Institute of Art.
