Obituary for Jim Wejcman

James Stephen Wejcman, age 82 of Minneapolis, passed away on August 12. He is preceded in death by wife, Linda; sister, Rose Marie;, sister-in-law, Lillian Emirich; brother in law, Dr. Keith Emirich. Survived by his sister, Suzanne Helminski; nephew, Daren Helminski; sister-in-law, Samsiah Abdul-Madjid Emerich; brother in law, Jerry Emirich; Nieces, Leith and Manday; Nephews, Adam and Sahamsul; and dear friends, Joyce Stone, Tim Ryan,

Jim was born in Milwaukee on August 16, 1940 to Stephen and Alice Wejcman, Jim 1958 graduate of Nathan Hale Highschool and a 1963 graduate of University of Wisconsin at Platteville. He belonged to Carpenters Local Union 322, 1644, and 7. Jim loved to travel, he visited over 40 countries with his wife. He enjoyed fishing and ham radios. Jim was proud to support the Red Cross by donating 523 pints/65 gallons of blood, plasma, and platelets. Jim also graciously supported Native American and Human Rights.

Funeral Service Thursday August 17th at 11am at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 5801 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis, MN. Visitation one hour prior. Reception to follow. Memorials preferred to Nelly Stone Scholarship, East Side Freedom Library, and Oglala Lakota College.
