James Edward Sheeley aged 97 died peacefully on April 14th at his home in Hopkins. Jim was a WWII army veteran and taught in the Mpls Public Schools for 30 years. He loved reading, fishing, writing poems and watching birds outside his window. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Louise, sisters Arlene Baker, Arliss Sheeley & Jeanne Wolfe. Survived by children Jim, Cathy & Kevin, grandchildren Jason, Molly (Melton), Colin & great grandchildren Liam, Finnian, Truman & Hewitt. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am Friday, April 23rd St Olaf Catholic Church 215 S 8th St, Minneapolis. Visitation one hour prior at St. Olaf. Burial at Ft Snelling National Cemetery. No flowers please; memorials to Feed My Starving Children.
