Obituary for James Michael "Jim" LaLonde
James LaLonde passed away on July 25th, 2019 in Bloomington, MN at the age of 60.
Jim is survived by his father, Richard LaLonde; loving wife of 38 years, Jean (nee Lindgren) LaLonde; three daughters, Jana LaLonde, Jamie (Dominick) Pedersen, Joanna LaLonde and fiancé Matthew Knase; siblings John (Malin) LaLonde, Jane (Kevin) Shea, Anne (Paul) Laux; grandson, Owen Pedersen; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his infant brother, Joseph; and mother, JoAnne LaLonde.
He was an incredible husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will be immeasurably missed. He loved flying planes, boating, classic cars, classic rock and his family.
A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, July 30th at 11am with visitation beginning at 10am at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church, 9900 Lyndale Ave S. Bloomington. A reception will follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate James’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The American Heart Association.
