Hellen J. Opsahl age 95 of Richfield. Born June 16, 1924, passed away June 9, 2020. Preceded in death by husband, Donald; parents, Harry and Marie Opstad; brother, Dr. Earl Opstad and sister, Evelyn Olson. Survived by sons, Ronald (Leticia), Jerome (Pamela) and Dennis (JoAnn); seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; nieces and a nephew. Hellen loved spending summers at the lake in Nisswa, MN. She was a 30 year employee at Red Owl (54th & Nicollet) and a 60 year member of the Sons of Norway. She cherished friendships, especially her South High School Girls Club that stayed together for 65 years. For the fourteen years, Hellen lived at the Gramercy Senior Cooperative in Richfield where she developed many new friendships. Private family interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
