Age 93 of Minneapolis, MN. Died November 15, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Gunder and Gunhild (Haugen) Knutson, and grandniece Cammie Johnson. Survived by husband Rolf; sister, Clara Laughlin; brother-in-law, Frederic (Hazel) Giere; nieces and nephews, Lisa (Jeff) Swenson, Larry Laughlin, Lori Johnson, Nils (Linda) Giere, John Giere, and Martha (Mark) Glende. Gudrun's entire career was dedicated to nursing, both as a staff nurse and nursing educator. Funeral service Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 11 AM ~ Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Avenue South with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment ~ Fort Snelling National Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
