Gary was born March 11, 1947 in Mayville, ND to Maxime and Gerald Cardiff. At age 4 he moved to Chula Vista, California and then moved to San Diego where he spent 10 years before moving to Rapid City, South Dakota. The Cardiff family moved to Fargo in 1961, and Gary graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1965. He graduated from NDSU with a Bachelor of Arts and a MBA. Gary was a very caring person, and a good friend and brother.
Gary is survived by brother, Rick (Beth); daughter, Kristen; son, Chad; and grandchildren, Carolyne, Josh, and Gabe.
Private interment at Vergas Cemetery, Vergas, MN.
