Obituary for John Townsend
Ervin John Townsend, of Plymouth, MN age 63, passed away at home August 12th.
John is preceded in death by his father, Ervin. John is survived by his wife Ann, Mother Ruth, Son Jacob Townsend (Michelle) grandchildren Jordan and Mackenzi. Daughter Sarah Townsend, step-children Tracy Temple, grandchild Aurora, Nicole Youngquist and Jacob Youngquist. Siblings Greg Townsend and Mark Townsend.
John’s current employment was with Alerus where he was an investment manager. He loved working there and all the people involved. He lived life to the fullest. He loved his family so much, loved his children with all he had. Recently loved to travel with his wife, building a beautiful garden and bird houses to fill the garden, spending time with family and friends and relaxing at the lake. His biggest pleasure was the time he spent with the grandchildren.
The Celebration of Johns life will be Friday, August 18th from 3:00 to 6:00pm at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave. So Bloomington, MN 55420
