Eleanor Della (Langford) Raidt
Eleanor (“Lennye”) Raidt, SFO, a WWII WAVE (naval nurse), passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on March 19, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jerome G. Raidt, parents John and Marie Langford, brother Bernard, sister Elizabeth Costello, and eldest daughter Mary Taylor. She is survived by her children: Ellie (Gary) Singer, Bernie (Kathy), Frances, Clare (Charles) Cahill, Margaret (JD) Walker, Katie, Lucy O’Brion, Patty Franco, and John (Jodi) Raidt. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren: Matt Taylor, Eric & Kyle Singer, AJ & JR Walker, Casey, Kelleen&Kevin O’Brion, John, Daniel & Colin Cahill, Angela Franco, John Henry & LiLi Raidt; and 13 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Monday, April 1, 2019, Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 5051 Eden Ave, Edina. Visitation one hour prior, luncheon to follow. Thanks to staff at Summerwood of Plymouth for wonderful care provided to Eleanor. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
