Dorothy A. Brown, age 92 of Bloomington, MN
Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James; son, Michael Brown; parents, Lambert and Veronica Koener (Schwehr); and brother, Lawrence Koener.
Survived by children, Ruth (Dave) Wineberg; Jody Brown and Doug Brown; grandchildren, Sarah (Alan) Magnuson, Greg (Kelley) Wineberg, Scott Brown, Jackie Brown and Shalene Foss; great-grandchildren, Parker, Josie, Charlie, Brielle, Ransley, Laikynn; and sister, Jeannie (Harvey) Francis.
Dorothy grew up in South Minneapolis. She graduated from Roosevelt High School Class of 1949. She married her sweetheart, James Brown in 1952 and raised her family.
Dorothy’s faith sustained her throughout her lifetime. One of her favorite bible verses was:
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength,
They will soar on wings likes eagles,
They will run and not grow weary,
They will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31
A Memorial Service will be held on August 9 at 11 a.m.
Emmaus Lutheran Church

Bloomington, MN
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior at the church.
Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery
