Obituary for Donald James "Don" Page

Page, Donald James
Age 89, of Bloomington passed away suddenly at Fairview Ridges Hospital.
Don, lovingly known, as Dear Ole Dad (DOD) or Dad the Pad was wed to the love of his life Patti for over 69 years. Theirs was a true love story for the ages. He was steadfast in his dedication to his wife and children until he took his last breath. A husband and father that put those he loved before himself
Don was a Union Rep for over 30 years for Local 653 Meat Cutters and Food Handlers. He was able to fully retire at 55 and lived life to the fullest each and every day that followed. He was a true jokester with a great sense of humor. He was bigger than life and loved by all who knew him. He was heavily involved in the Bloomington Born Again jocks for many years and was an avid golfer, softball, volleyball and Bocce ball player in his day.
He was truly a kind and generous man who will be desperately missed by his beloved wife, Patricia; his adoring daughters, Cathy, Mary and Beth; devoted sons-in-law, Dan and Jeff; faithful grand pups, Shelby, Izzie and Peanut; and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Elaine; parents, Marcie and Wesley; brother, Denny; and sister, JoAnne.
