Age 91 of Minneapolis, MN. Born September 27, 1930 in Minneapolis, MN to Nelmer C. and Emmat (Mattson) Lunneborg. Died December 31, 2021. Don was a Korean War Veteran. Preceded in death by his parents; son, David; granddaughter, Emily; brothers, Neale and Sherman. Survived by his wife of 70 years (married October 19, 1951 in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina) Donna M. (Johnson) Lunneborg; children, Gary, Gail (Terry), Michael, Sandy (Dave), Nancy (Jeff), Becky (Kurts), Jim (Nancy), and Mary (Adam); 26 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Claryce, Janice and Lois. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 11 AM ~ Church of the Annunciation, 509 West 54th Street. Visitation Wednesday, 4-7 at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 5801 Lyndale Avenue So and also one hour prior to mass at church. Private interment ~ Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
