Obituary for David Alan Johnson
Johnson, David A. age 61 of Eden Prairie, passed away on December 9, 2022.
David is survived by wife Debra, son Brent (Sarah), daughter Karli, brothers Paul (Jennifer), Dale, sister-in-law Sandy, grandchildren Parker, Cora, Evan and many nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by parents James and Carol, sister Julie. David graduated from Edina East in 1980 and took pride in rebuilding/showing his high school ‘69 GTO Judge. As a lifelong electrician, he loved working with his hands and built a cabin from the ground up with his family. David enjoyed riding ATV’s/snowmobiles, fishing, hunting, boating, campfires, family vacations and his Labradors. He succumbed to ALS after a nearly three-year battle; he was a warrior. Memorial service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 16515 Luther Way, Eden Prairie on Tuesday Dec. 20th at 11 am with visitation at 10 am. Luncheon and sharing of memories following the service at the Chanhassen Legion. Memorials preferred to ALS Association in lieu of flowers www.als.org/mn-nd-sd.
