Obituary for Daniel Elliot "Dan" Besse
Loving Son, Brother, and Friend. Age 39, of Cannon Falls, passed away suddenly on January 12th, 2020.
Dan was an avid outdoorsman and loved nothing more than being on the water or in the woods. He loved his work; plowing in the winter and the smell of fresh cut grass in the summer. He enjoyed helping others and would do anything for anyone. Dan will be greatly missed by family and many friends, as he was taken from us far too soon.
Preceded in death by father, Steve; grandparents, Jennie and Harold Besse, Mildred and Merril Baumann.
Survived by mother, Rosalie (Chuck Silver) Besse; sister, Stefany Besse; brother, Scott (Val) Besse; uncle, Mike (Aletta) Besse, aunt Debbie (Kevin) Boyce; cousins, Mike (Tracy) Besse, Jennifer (Dan) Vogel, Jeffrey Boyce, Julie (Dan) Aaker and Ryan Schoen; nieces and nephews, Meghan, Alexander, Claire, Elliot, Kayla, Tanner and Connor ; The Hanson Family and his best friend, Trapper.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 21st with a time of sharing beginning at 4 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 5801 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis, MN. Visitation 1 hour prior beginning at 3 PM. There will be a reception following the service at Crystal Lake Golf Course, 16725 Innsbrook Dr., Lakeville, MN.
