Age 89 of Eagan, loving Dad and Grandpa of Eagan, formerly of Bloomington, MN passed on May 11, 2023. US Navy veteran of the Korean War. Born June 20th, 1933 in Minneapolis, MN to Joseph August and Ethel Margaret (Anderson) Hommes. Preceded in death by parents; loving wife of 55 years, Agnes "Aggie" Bernice (Melsvor) Hommes. Survived by children, Dale (Lisa) Hommes, Amy Miller, Charles "Chuck" (Mary Jo) Hommes, and Janice Hommes (Dean Birkholz); grandchildren, Derek (Kristy), Carlee, Aaron, Noah, and Sarah Joy. Funeral service Friday, May 19th at 11 AM ~ Christ the King Lutheran Church, 8600 Fremont Ave So, Bloomington, MN 55420. Visitation Thursday, May 18th, 4-7 PM ~ Gill Brothers Bloomington Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave So and also one hour prior to service at church. Private interment ~ Lakewood Cemetery.
