Carole Ellen Kastigar, age 88, died peacefully at home March 30th, 2021. Born in Northeast Minneapolis October 7, 1932, daughter of Joe and Evelyn Gallick. Predeceased by first husband, Joe Kastigar. Carole and Jim Moudry became life partners in 1993. Carole is survived by Jim; her brother, Joe Gallick; children, Lise (Lee), Joe and Christine (Mike); 7 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Carole led an active life in professional theater, earned a Masters degree in Pastoral Studies at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, and taught public speaking at the St. Paul Seminary. In addition to authoring a book about grandchildren (her biggest passion), and a second book about coffee, she enjoyed music, travel and time spent with family. Funeral at St. Thomas the Apostle, Minneapolis, Wednesday, April 7, at 2 PM. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, service is private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, Minneapolis; Save the Children.
