Obituary for Brian Dale Wobbeking

The old adage that the good die young was proven again on July 25, 2023. Brian Wobbeking, age 57, passed away after a 20 month battle with glioblastoma. He is survived by his lovely and loving wife Annie of 37 years, his dad Ron (Kathy), sisters Jodi (Kelly) Leidholm, Dana (Don) Wobbeking Fox and Nikki, nieces and nephews Bria, Josh, Alex, Sam, Sydney, Olivia and Mati, and his dogs, Josie and Henry. Preceded in death by his mother (Shelly), grandparents and nephew Zack. Brian had a wonderful and very quick sense of humor. He was constantly joking with anyone who crossed his path. He lived by the mottos of treating everyone nice and working hard and because of that had many, many friends. He and his wife Annie worked together in their business and it was Brian who carried the relationship with the clients and his personality was obvious. They were inseparable and he often remarked about how lucky he was to have Annie. An open house celebration of life and his birthday will be held on August 25 at Edina Country Club at 5100 Wooddale Drive in Edina from noon to 2:30. Lunch will be served. No flowers or gifts, but contributions to either the Gliobalstoma Foundation (glioblastomafoundation.org), the Brain Tumor Network (braintumornetwork.org) or the local hospice where he spent his last day and they were so kind and professional (littlehospice.org) in his honor would be appreciated.
