To all the Boegeman Family,

My sympathy, loving thoughts and prayers on the passing of your wife/mom! Two wonderful memories, the first being homemade popcorn balls for years for Halloween! The second, after my mom had undergone successful stomach cancer surgery she sat around her apartment for months assuming the cancer would come back and "finish" its job. After having visited mom many times during those months Bernie showed up one afternoon and challenged mom to get up off her *** (three letter word for buttocks) and get back into life (pretty much a direct quote)! And the scolding worked, mom got active, went back to work and volunteering at the Franciscan Retreat Center, and hanging out with Bernie!
