Obituary for Barbara Ann Sazenski (Bazinet)
Barbara Ann Sazenski, 71, went to her Heavenly Father on July 23rd, 2022. Barbara was born in Minneapolis on December 13, 1950. She graduated from Minneapolis North High School in the Class of 1968. Barbara proudly worked at Control Data, Seagate Technologies for 30 years and TruStone Financial for 12 years.
Barbara is a Beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend. Barbara raised one daughter, Alisha. In recent years, this mother and daughter team loved dining at their favorite restaurants, walking the lakes, coffee at Starbucks, sitting by Lake Minnetonka and meeting up with family and friends. Barbara also shared a special bond with her dog of 19 years, Copper.
Barbara loved watching movies, listening to music and tending to her flowers. She loved vacationing in Hawaii, New York City, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. She dreamed of one day vacationing in Italy and Disney World.
Barbara truly loved her family, especially her mother, father, brother, sister and cousins. Celebrating holidays and birthdays with her family was her greatest joy. Barbara also loved spending time at their cabin with her sister and brother-in-law.
Barbara is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Bazinet and her father, Robert Bazinet. Survivors include her daughter, Alisha Sazenski; sister and husband, Jeanne O’Keefe and Rick O’Keefe; brother and wife, Bob Bazinet and Wanda Bazinet; Nephew and Godson, Aaron O’Keefe; Nieces and Nephew, Sarah O’Keefe, Kristyne Bazinet and Matthew Bazinet; Cousins and Best Friends, Sue, Pam, Marcia, Larry, Shana, Cindy and Michelle.
Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4th at The Church of St. Gerard, 9600 Regent Avenue North, Brooklyn Park with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
