Obituary for August Lynn Yule

August Lynn Yule, age 17, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 21, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. She was from Crystal, MN. She also lived in Champlin, Coon Rapids, and Virginia. August quickly made friends and impacted many lives in all these communities. August was a strong believer in “pay it forward” and her life reflects it, always randomly showering her cousins, nephews and niece with gifts, as she was always so excited to see them happy. She had a strong work ethic; she was the person you called when someone called in. She was so proud of recently getting her driver’s license and was set to graduate High School early this spring. One of the ways August chose to express herself was clothing, particularly shoes and daily selfies that showed her beauty. She loved going to the Mudd Bogs with her Uncle and hoped to have her own truck someday. Unfortunately, August also struggled with many issues that teenagers face today and often find hard to talk to others about. Please in August’s honor, if you know someone that is seeking help please reach out to them!

She is survived by her Mother, Sarah Yule; her Father, Bart Becker; siblings, Ashley Yule (Samson) and Michaela (Nathan) Jenstead; Godmother, Jennifer Michaels; Niece, Mariana; Nephews, Kaleb; Karsen, Klayton, Maxon and Kingston; Grandmother, Lana Yule; Uncles, Josh (Lacey) Yule and Robbie Becker; Aunts, Tara (Mike) Staye, Julie Yule (Ishmael) and Charity Yule (Shawn); Boyfriend, Javonte Smith; Cousins, Briana, Shelby, Brenden, Jerrid, Joshua, Jada, Mason, Landon; and many more family members that will mourn her loss as well. She is preceded in death by Grandpa, Al Becker; Grandpa, Roger Yule; Grandma, Ruth Becker; Godfather, Scottie Riemann; and Auntee, Kimberly Riemann.

Family, friends and others whose lives August touched are invited to Lakewood Cemetery at 3600 Hennepin Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55408 on Monday January 27th at 2:00pm for visitation with service following at 2:30pm; to pay respects, reminisce, grieve or just support one another. The 201 Tavern in Anoka has graciously offered to provide August’s favorite food, Tacos, following the service. 201 Jackson St #102, Anoka, MN 55303 at approximately 5pm.
